The Hipster Nativity Set is Now a Thing
One of the oldest staples in Christmas decorations just got a modern day update. That's right, there's a nativity scene that features hipsters.
The set features selfie-taking Joseph rocking a man bun and denim shirt next to baby Jesus and Mary making a duck face while holding her Starbucks. The three Wisemen used Google Maps to find Jesus, and rode segways to the solar-powered stable with their gifts in Amazon boxes. And don't forget about shepherd who's posting a pic to Instagram.
"This product started (as all good products do) at a happy hour with our friends," founder Casey Wright told Mashable in an email. "After a few beers, we started joking about how religions would be different if their sacred texts were set in modern times."
Each figure is roughly 7-inches tall and are all hand-painted polyresin. For $129.99 you can own a set of your own, maybe start a new holiday tradition.
