Even though it seems like the Christmas season starts way back in August, I'm willing to bet that you're one of the normal ones who hasn't decorated yet.

Which means you can still use this information: when the best and worst times to buy a Christmas tree are. A new study found that the worst times are the times that pretty much everyone buys one.

The worst time to buy a Christmas tree is on Cyber Monday, the average price will hit $81. Black Friday is the second-worst with an average of $77 for a tree.

The best time to buy one is on Christmas Eve, perfect for procrastinators. Average prices on the December 24th drop down to $47.

A more realistic time to buy your tree would be the week leading up to Christmas. You'll pay around $57, but you can have your tree up for more than a day.
