Teenage Entrepreneur Turned Down $30 Million Offer
Forget being a 14-year-old, could you turn down $30 million at any point in your life? Taylor Rosenthal thumbed his nose at the offer for his medical vending machine.
Rosenthal came up with the idea after traveling to a baseball tournament, "I'd notice that kids would get hurt and parents couldn't find a band-aid. I wanted to solve that." He started RecMed in 2015, raised $100,000 in angel investments and has been offered $30 million for his idea.
RecMed started as Rosenthal's eighth grade project for his Young Entrepreneurs Academy class. "We had to come up with a business idea," he said.
