Teacher Quit Her Job Because She’s Making Six Figures Posting Twerking Videos

It's really, really, really, really hard to say our country has its priorities in order when creating six-second butt shaking videos is a way better career path than educating America's youth.

22-year-old Jessica Vanessa of Orlando, Florida used to be a pre-kindergarten teacher. Then one day, she realized she was quite good at twerking and started posting short videos on Vine.

Her popularity exploded, she's now up to two million followers and more than 673 million views and she quit her teaching job because it was so much more lucrative for her to post her twerking videos.

She's making at least six figures thanks to brands paying her to have their stuff product placed in her videos and promoters paying her for appearances.

Jessica says, quote, "What I make in six seconds would take me like four months to make as a pre-K teacher."
