Micah McDade graduated from high school last week in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He has cerebral palsy, so normally he uses a wheelchair. But he surprised his classmates at their graduation ceremony last Friday by walking across the stage to get his diploma.

He'd been working at it for months, and didn't tell anyone at school. As soon as Micah stood up, they realized what was happening and gave him a standing ovation.

He used a walker to help him balance, and a woman was there to make sure he didn't fall. But he made it the whole way across the stage before he sat back down. The announcer at the commencement got on the speaker system afterward, and said "Ladies and gentlemen, I've been doing this a long time, that is the best ever!"
