Soldier Returns to Chicagoland to Surprise Daughter During Softball Game

Staff Sgt. Adam Isdale returned home from Kuwait just in time to catch his 7-year-old daughter's championship softball game in Brookfield, Illinois.

Aubree hadn't seen her father since he left in February. So when she was up to bat, he stood in as pitcher. She recognized him, threw down her bat and ran to hug him. From there it gets a little dusty.

"She was completely oblivious," Isdale said. "My wife did a pretty good job, and a friend of the family did a good job, setting this thing up. Aubree had no idea that I was going to be here today."
