“So” .. It’s Peter Gabriel’s Birthday

Peter Gabriel turns the traditional retirement age today, a great musician but an even greater performer.  If you saw him as the front-man for Genesis you'd probably agree.  He was the show.

It wasn't a very amicable split when he left the band, but you could say he "landed on his feet ok".  His "Sledgehammer" video has won the most MTV Video Awards ever, and it's the most played video in their history too.  And it's not as though his solo career stopped there.

So today Peter Gabriel (and early Genesis) fans, I salute you "Big Time" ...  ok, that one was uncalled for.
