Should I Be Embarrassed By My 4th Of July Vacation Destination?

Klinger busted me out on the show today.  I am going to Branson, MO!

I have never been to Branson, but I assume it's a place filled with blue hairs and country stage productions.  

But, the wife already booked it and (as I'm told) this will be the best damn vacation ever!  Well after some encouraging calls and emails to the show today I'm not as hesitant to go.

Nancy writes:

"We have owned a timeshare in Branson for 10+ years and it is a great place to vacation especially with kids. Lots of family oriented shows, mini golf, go carts, Silver Dollar City, Branson Landing, fish hatchery, water parks. The list goes on and on. It really is not an “old people” destination anymore. My whole family always looked forward to going there. Goose and his family will have a great time. Don’t knock it until you try it."

Well thank you Nancy, that was encouraging.  While I was on the fence of dread and enthusiasm ... I stumbled upon 'The Price Is Right Live.'  Ok, I have to get tickets for this.  I can even make a day that Jerry Springer is hosting!  Ok, I'm definitely on board!
