School Bus Driver Arrested After Letting Children Drive

A school bus driver in northwestern Indiana was arrested last week after letting three different kids drive her bus.

A parent complained after 27-year-old Joandrea McAtee allowed three students aged 11, 13, and 17 to take the wheel of the school bus. McAtee was dropping the kids off from school when she stopped in a rural area and let them drive a short distance.

The Porter County Sheriff's Office investigated after the complaint and jailed the bus driver on child neglect charges.
