Last December 9th, GQ magazine named Jimmy Page their "Rock God Of The Year" for 2014.  Near as I can figure, it was because he simply did an interview with the magazine.  It didn't seem to be a gesture applauding some new body of work, or some project or performance.  While there's no doubt that Jimmy Page IS a "Rock God" the award doesn't have much substance.

2014 was also the year that GQ magazine named U2's Bono the "Least Influential Person of the Year".  I imagine it was because he declined an interview.  GQ should stick to what it does best...pictures of hot women!  Keep those comin' and forget your awards.  No need to embarrass yourselves for 2015, or is it too late?
