Ride for cancer awareness on Sunday August 19th and support Gilda's Club Quad Cities. This year the ride will start and end at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds and the group has added a couple of other fun events in addition to the ride. While the motorcycles are out on the ride there will be a classic car and jeep show all day long. After returning to the fairgrounds participants in the ride can enjoy food, music, auction and raffle items. Registration starts at 8:00AM CT and the last bike in is expected at 4:00PM CT.

The ride started 11 years ago as the QC Ride for the Cure, but has been renamed The 11th Annual QC Cancer Awareness Ride. Throughout the past 11 years the event has become an amazing event for Gilda's Club Quad Cities as riders enjoy joining together and riding to honor loved ones who have fought and continue to fight cancer.

Costs are as follows: $15 for a single rider. $25 for a rider and with passenger. Cost is $25 to enter your Jeep or Classic Car in the show. Car and Jeep entrants also receive two T-Shirts. You can register and learn more about the ride here.
