Remembering The Good Times

Thanks to Dwyer and Michaels today for taking the time to talk about our concert on the levee back in 1988 with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gregg Allman, and Steppenwolf.  What a night that was and it's one of my favorite memories with Stevie.  This was the first official interview I did with him, and it was right there on the concert grounds in front of several cheering fans.  He was gracious, humble, and pretty talkative ... and later that night he rocked over 10,000 people on a perfect Spring night!

Today is naturally a sad day for all rock and blues fans, and of course there will be a "Punch-Out" tribute today ...  but don't cry today, let's remember 1988 at LeClaire Park May 27th.  I don't know about you, but it's one of the best memories I have in 28 years in the Quad Cities!
