Remember That Time I Rescued The Symbol of Our Nation?
It was Labor Day weekend in 2011. While my family and I were riding the trails in northern Wisconsin we found and rescued an injured bald eagle.
We named the bird "Herky" and he was rehabilitated by the Raptor Education Group in Antigo, Wisconsin. 14 months after the resuce Herky was released back into the wild in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.
