Rage Against The Machine Drops Hints About Possible Tour with Public Enemy
It looks like Rage Against The Machine is gearing up to make a big announcement. The band recently launched a new site with an online countdown and an advertising campaign.
RATM sent out a tweet with a link to a new website called Prophets of Rage that shows a countdown that will end on June 1st. The tweets also has the hashtag #TakeThePowerBack, which is the name of a track off their first album and the song played during a Quad City Mallards' power play.
Posters featuring the hashtag and the new imagery have been spotted all around Los Angeles.
"Prophets of Rage" is the name of a Public Enemy song. Chuck D, leader of Public Enemy, has recently been posting clips of RATM performing live. Call it speculation, but it looks like the two groups may tour together. Rage Against The Machine haven't played together since 2011.
