The Quad City Storm continues to give back during their inaugural season and have a few opportunities for you to salute the military this week.

Today, November 7th, the TaxSlayer Center will open up to active and retired armed services members and their families. Between 10 A.M. and 7 P.M., participants are invited to paint their name on the ice and they'll receive a coupon for $3 off a ticket to this weekend's games.

Veterans and active military members will get $5 off their ticket when they show their military I.D.

The games on November 9th and 10th continue the Storm's salute to our military weekend. Hockey fans are asked to wear red, white, and blue to both games.

Special camouflage jerseys will be worn by the team on Friday and will be auctioned off on April 5th to benefit VFW Post 1303. Saturday's game will raise money for Trinity Foundation’s Military Services Fund. The team will donate a portion of ticket proceeds and Chuck-A-Puck money.
