Quad Cities Songwriter Spotlight: The Zealots

In this edition of Quad Cities Songwriter Spotlight, we talk with a band called "The Zealots", who were featured recently in the 97Xposure contest...and even more recently in the 97Xposure drama that followed.

The "Covers VS Original" debate is not one I will have here because there's been plenty of snarky social media comments & podcasts devoted to the topic.

But I will say, these guys are incredible.  Great players and down to earth dudes. They've got their eye on the prize, and as you'll hear in the feature below, a cool systematic approach to song writing.

The Zealots signed with The Artery Foundation management and are currently shopping some new material that sounds incredible!

Career Highlight Thus Far?
Honestly our whole tour was the best band moment. Being able to perform music every night in a different city is an amazing feeling. We got video documentation of our first tour that we will be releasing it soon!
