Greetings Quad Cities!

Episode four of the "QC Veterans' Roll Call" radio show is broadcasting this Sunday, July 24th, bright and early at 7:00 a.m.!

We had yet another FANTASTIC show and are excited to bring it to you.  Our guests are Jason Gordon, Davenport City Council and VP, Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, Aaron Serrano, Military Cost Cutters, and David "Woody" Woods, Director, Scott County Veterans' Affairs.

Aaron Serrano is a Marine Veteran who served our nation as a Captain in Iraq during "The Surge," 2007 & 2008. After completing his military service, he joined John Deere. However, he was not long for Corporate America as he started Military Cost Cutters, MCC. Here's a bit about MCC from their website:

David "Woody" Woods served our nation with the United States Army in Vietnam, earning a Silver Star and Purple Heart. After a 29 plus year career at Alcoa, he volunteered to advocate for Veterans. In recognition of his selfless service and stellar advocacy, he was appointed the Director of Scott County Veterans' Affairs.

Woody discussed how he can assist a Veteran in apply for benefits that he or she have earned for their service to our nation. Woody can help guide you or your Veteran thru the process.

We also discussed the painful and real issue of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the importance of getting Veterans help as soon as possible.
