QC Storm Paint the Ice to Fight Cancer

This week the Quad City Storm kicks off Hockey Fights Cancer with a huge Paint the Ice Event from 10:00 am through 7:00 pm tomorrow. Fans will be able to paint the names of loved ones affected by cancer in the color of the cancer they fought.

• Gray - Bone, Lung, and Skin Cancer
• Pink - Breast Cancer
• Green - Liver Cancer, Lymphoma
• Blue - Prostate, Stomach, Colon Cancer
• Yellow - Bone Cancer
• Orange - Leukemia
• Purple - Pancreatic Cancer
• Teal - Ovarian Cancer

Everyone who attends will receive a $3 off coupon for Saturday's game against the Peoria Rivermen.

The Storm’s Giving Back Campaign has raised over $43,000 in only 15 games with hopes to raise $100,000 for local charities before the season ends in April. Funds raised from the game will go to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities.
