Prank Call Leads to Fast Food Restaurant Windows Being Smashed
Burger King employees in Morro Bay, California caused $35,000 worth of damage to the fast food joint after receiving a prank call about a gas leak in the building.
Someone had called the restaurant pretending to be with the fire department and informed the workers that they needed to ventilate the place due to the gas. They then smashed in all the windows.
"It looked like someone’s way of going out with a bang," said Brian Jagger, who captured the video on his cell phone. "I saw a few employees busting out the front windows with stools as another drove through the front entrance with his car. Basically wreaking havoc on the place."
