Porn on your computer? Do you: C) report it stolen

55-year-old Brent Sandy is a music professor at the University of Iowa.  And apparently he downloaded a bunch of porn on the school laptop the university had issued him.  Only he didn't know how to delete it. Which became a problem when the school asked for the computer back, so they could give him a new one.

So Brent came up with a brilliant HORRIBLE plan to cover it up, and now the whole world knows how much he loves porno:  He took the laptop home . . . then called the police and reported it as stolen.  What could go wrong?
Dude!  Isn't that the first run of pornclub?  Know how to delete porn!  He also didn't realize just how easy it would be for the school to track down the computer.  The technology services tracked its IP address to his home, and the cops found it inside.
That's when Brent admitted he'd taken the laptop so the school wouldn't find his porn.
So there...are we cool?

He's been charged with filing a false police report and third-degree theft.
