Just remember this as you're sitting in the car, three days into a family road trip, when you all want to kill each other, and swear you never should've gone to see the World's Biggest Ball of Twine. You should have gone to Oregon.

The website WalletHub.com ranked all 50 states from best to worst when it comes to taking a road trip. They used factors like gas and hotel prices, campgrounds, road conditions, car theft rates, national parks, attractions, and scenery.

Iowa ranked 32 and Illinois made it to 25.
