A Heartfelt Goodbye to all Quad City Hockey Fans:

As I read the very nice article by John Marx in this morning's paper, it finally sunk in.  After 19 seasons of announcing hockey games for the Mallards, I'm stepping down and handing over the microphone.  It wasn't an easy decision, and it feels pretty weird, but I'm looking forward to more weekend time with my wife and daughter, and looking forward to watching games from the stands with friends, family, and fans.  So at this time, I just want to give the most sincere "thank you" possible to everyone I've worked with, and most importantly to YOU fans.  Thank you for always treating me so well, and always being so responsive to me.  You're the best ...and without a doubt YOU will be what I will miss most.
