Officers Down 5K Celebrates Local Police and Their Sacrifices

This weekend, we as a community have the opportunity to give back to the officers who put their lives on the line every day.

The mission of the Officers Down 5K is to celebrate the policemen and women who keep our homes safe and to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty.

Crow Creek Park in Bettendorf will host the Officers Down 5K and Community Day this Saturday. The day will include lunch, live music, fun activities, and more.

Check-in and registration happens between 4pm and 6pm or you can register online here. Along with the 5K run/walk, there will also be a kids fun run, a K9 demonstration, and a professional fire performance.
