Nearly Every Piece of The Lodge is Up For Sale
The first day of The Lodge's liquidation sale was yesterday. Klinger and myself went to check it out. To say that there are signs of neglect would be an understatement.
Here's an overview of the sale from WQAD:
When Dwyer and I first came to the Quad Cities, we actually lived on the 9th floor for a little while. Dwyer and his wife spent their wedding night in the suites as well.
So yesterday curiosity got the better of me and I had to go check out the building. The sale started yesterday and will go on daily until everything is sold. We were charged $4 just to get in and had to basically sign our lives away just to look around.
Take a look at some of the prices things were going for. Most of the mounted animal heads were a couple hundred dollars, but a few were going for $2,500! If I remember correctly, the stuffed bear in the lounge was going for around $3,500.
I ended up leaving with three mini-fridges, paid $10 a piece and now my kids are set for college.
Here's some of the sample prices:
The Lodge was also the location where MegaFault had their auditions! Check Out Corpsman Dave, he's all "jacked and tan!"
