My “Numero Uno” Pick At Whitey’s !

After some "extensive research" with my 11-year-old daughter, I can finally crown my absolute FAVORITE thing to get at Whitey's Ice Cream !!   It's gotta be the Tin Roof !!   I can't help it, I love 'em!  Of course my daughter says the Banana Splits are HER favorite, and you can't fault her for that.

Yeah, we had to make several trips and try numerous flavors, and try all the specialty items for proper accuracy... but we felt it was the right thing to do!  It's also the right thing to acknowledge our runner-up flavors:  Black Raspberry Chip for me, Chocolate Fudge Brownie for her!

So congrats to Whitey's on being named "World's Best Ice Cream" in a recent study.  An honor we Quad Citians have known all along!  And congrats to Joni Mitchell from our sister station "The Hawk" for her video of "the stages" when eating Whitey's, and lookin' real good doin' it!
