Musicians Are Buying Into Some Bizarre Health Trends
"Billboard" has a couple of new reports that share some very bizarre "health trends" that musicians are buying into these days.
- Moon Dust. These plant-based formulas are added to smoothies and coffee, supposedly they increase sexual energy and brain power. The stars that are into this include: Haim, Pink, Alanis Morissette, and Common.
- Cocoa-Sniffing. Basically, you just snort cocoa, and apparently it gives you a jolt of energy, because that totally makes sense. Ron Wood and Charlie Watts from The Rolling Stones are into it, and they seem to be aging pretty well, although doctors say putting anything up your nose is a bad idea.
- Apitherapy. Putting bee venom on your skin as an anti-inflammatory and anti-aging thing. The stars that are into this include Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
- Bite Massages. A massage therapist is paid to bite people' backs, and charges $150 to $250 an hour to do it. A lot of celebrities have done this, including Katy Perry, Eminem, Courtney Love, Robert Plant, Simon Cowell, Juliette Lewis, David Bowie, Kanye, and members of the Grateful Dead.
