I hate that summer is over and we never did an outside movie!  We like to set up the projector & let the kids watch a movie on a sheet hanging on the side of the barn.  We'll make it happen for Halloween, but still I'm bummed out we didn't make the time before the kids went back to school.

Davenport Parks & Rec and Vanderveer are putting on a show this Saturday.  The live action Beauty & the Beast will be shown free of charge!  You can bring snacks, but food trucks are available too.  Plus, you kid can dress up for the costume contest!

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and join the Friends of Vander Veer & Davenport Parks and Recreation at Vander Veer Botanical Park to watch the live action version of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” Before the movie families will be able to purchase food from local food truck vendors, participate in child friendly activities and enter our Beauty and the Beast Costume parade and contest.
