Mountain Rescue Dog Takes a Break to Slide Down Snowy Hill

Everybody needs a break or two throughout the work day, Truckee the six-year-old black Lab is no different. He's the senior dog of Lake Tahoe's Avalanche Rescue Dog Program.

According to ski patroller Chris Child, “He slides like this occasionally, when he’s hot or just for fun. This was probably his longest slide so far, and I was lucky to get it on camera.”
