Dwyer was casually telling us about putting up his Christmas tree and how many strands of lights he used this year. And after 26 years of working together I never realized how wrong he could be.

He began his story with, "So I wrapped the first strand around the lower branches, and then--" At the point, I had to stop him.

You begin at the bottom of the tree? Who does that? You always start at the top of the tree and work your way down, that's just how it's done.

Don't forget those jokers who put their lights on by going up and down, like a ski lift. What's up with that?
