Starting at 5 AM this Friday, May 19th, police will be on top of the Dunkin' Donuts at 3501 Avenue of the Cities in support of Special Olympics Illinois. Last year $672,000 in donations were raised, this year they're hoping to top it.

Special Olympics athletes will be on site with the officers to help raise awareness and funds for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Each guest who visits the Cop on a Rooftop location and makes a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut. A donation of at least $10 will score you a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug and a free medium coffee coupon.

T-shirts and raffle tickets will be sold and fun activities are being planned.
