Just Announced: Metallica Making Tour Stop at Iowa Speedway

Good news metalheads. Metallica will be making a stop in our neck of the woods on their "WorldWired Tour" after all, and they're bringing Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat with them.

The show will be on June 9th at the Iowa Speedway in Newton with tickets going on sale Friday April 21st. Tickets will be sold online through Ticket Master, good luck getting some.

“Newton, Iowa?” You ask... “that’s a new one!” We’re excited to announce that the WorldWired tour will make a stop at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa to play a special benefit show for the Native Fund on Friday, June 9. Our tour mates Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat will join us at the NASCAR track nestled between Cedar Rapids and Des Moines.

The Native Fund is a nonprofit founded by Iowan Ashton Kutcher and NFL player Dallas Clark as a way to give back to local residents.
