Man Arrested for Tampering with Traffic Cameras, Posted “How To” Video to Facebook
Stephen Ruth of Long Island got fed up with getting traffic tickets due to red light cameras. Instead of just not trying to beat the stop lights, he decided to do something about the cameras.
The 42-year-old guy was arrested on Tuesday, accused of four counts of criminal tampering, after police discovered his Facebook videos of him disabling a red light camera with a painter's pole.
“I’m going to show you how easy it is to take the power back... All it took was a pair of balls and a painter’s extension rod.”
