Majority of Americans Don’t Know Where the Grand Canyon Is

It's pretty important to know where the Grand Canyon is. Not just because it's super basic knowledge, but so you don't fall in... Ahem.

A new survey found 70% of Americans say they have a pretty strong knowledge about our national landmarks. They're wonrg. Check this out:

• 60% don't know the Hoover Dam is between Nevada and Arizona.
• 57% don't know the Grand Canyon is in Arizona.
• 37% don't know the Space Needle is in Seattle.
• 32% don't know Alcatraz is in San Francisco.
• 6% don't know the Empire State Building is in New York.
• 3% don't know Times Square is in New York.
• 3% don't know the White House is in Washington D.C.
