Think about the last time you stepped on a stray LEGO block barefooted. That's a pain one doesn't soon forget and is probably why this record has stood for as long as it did.

Russell Cassevah threw his shoes off to trek across a path of loose LEGO bricks that was 120-feet-long. The previous record was only 85-feet-long.

The successful attempt, which has been submitted to Guinness, was aimed at raising money for Fairy Bricks, a charity that provides Lego sets to hospitalized children.
