After scoring a touchdown, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton likes to give the ball to a kid in the stands. But after a score during yesterday's game against Green Bay, he almost didn't get to.

That's because Packers defensive end Julius Peppers ended up with the ball and when Cam asked for it, he tossed it away. Cam was eventually able to track it down and give it to a kid.

Maybe Julius wasn't aware of Cam's thing and wasn't deliberately trying to prevent a kid from getting the ball. Still, it wasn't cool.
