Jason Fechner, Upriver Against Cancer

Jason Fechner will be doing the impossible... not really, but it's for a good cause. He will be kayaking for 12 hours straight on the Mississippi. He will be traveling back and forth, from Davenport to Rock Island.

To mark 10 years since my mom won her battle against breast cancer, and to give encouragement to two friends currently fighting it, I'll kayak for 12 hours straight on the Mississippi River, back-and-forth between Davenport, Iowa and Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday, June 7th, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All money raised will be split between Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
