Iowa Sheriff’s SUV Slides Down Hill in Ice Storm Aftermath

A listener sent us this footage from Council Bluffs, IA of a county sheriff attempting to ascend an icy hill. The SUV makes it about halfway up the street before sliding back down and into a yard.

Make sure you're staying aware of the current road conditions in your area. Many of the main roads here in the Quad Cities are safe to drive on this morning. But the side roads and parking lots are basically skating rinks.
