Iowa Mother Arrested After Leaving Young Children Home Alone

A woman in Coralville was busted leaving her three kids under the age of five home alone when one of them called 911 for help getting YouTube to work.

The police received a call around 10 P.M. last Thursday night from a young child reported that she needed help watching videos online. Officers went to the apartment and found the kids, ages five, three, and one, had been left alone for about forty minutes.

When 23-year-old Natalee Kahl returned home, she was greeted by the police who stayed with the children. She admitted to leaving to get her boyfriend from a neighbor's home.

She was charged with three counts of misdemeanor child endangerment and also faces possession of drug paraphernalia.
