This may be the worst idea for cars since the Yugo.

A woman in Springville, N.Y. was busted by cops for driving a car with a cardboard license plate that she made. The makeshift plate appeared on the back of the vehicle.

It was so preposterous that the Erie County Sheriff's Office posted it on Facebook as a warning to other citizens, most of whom are probably already aware this is a terrible idea:

This was merely the beginning of Amanda Schweickert's problems, though. She had no plate on the front of her car and was cruising around with a suspended registration and no insurance. Basically, she's everyone who's ever appeared on Judge Judy in a case about car accidents.
