So, I'm a big fat guy.  I know that losing weight will all but eliminate my snoring or possible sleep apnea.

I'm gonna work on that.

But until then, I need to get a hold of my snoring or my wife is going to suffocate me with a pillow.  So, I took a sleep apnea test.

Beattie Dental offers CPAP alternatives.  I've read plenty of commercials talking about this, but I wanted a more hands-on approach.  So I put this thing on my head.  It is fitted like a baseball cap with electrodes along the brim.  Not super uncomfortable...but it's not super easy to sleep with.

I didn't get a great amount of sleep last night.  I'm a little hazy today. I dropped off the test helmet at Beattie and they said they'd upload the info and get the data they need to determine if I've indeed got Sleep Apnea.

I guess insurance doesn't cover it if you've only been diagnosed by your wife...even though Dr. Marianna says they are usually really accurate. :)

I'll keep you updated.  I'm sure you're on the edge of your seat.
