"Raiders of the Lost Ark" is one of those classics that I'm sure all if not most of our listeners have seen at least once. But, I'm certain nobody has noticed this detail before.

So, my son and I were watching "Raiders" last night, and we get to the scene where Indy thinks that Marion blew up in the truck. As he's sitting in the cafe with the monkey, my son says, "Dad! Did you see that??"

I say, "See what?"

He says, "That dude just picked his nose!!"

Huh?

So, we back up the movie, and sure enough... there's a guy (who appears to be a stage hand because he's dressed in jeans and a t-shirt while all the other characters are dressed in middle-eastern garb) and he just walks into the shot over Indy's right shoulder. He causally picks his nose and possibly eats it. To quote my 12-year-old, "Oh yeah. He TOTALLY ate his boogers."

So, now he thinks the movie is a classic for a different reason.

Did you catch that? Let's slow it down and take another look:

Here's another piece of trivia that's a little more widely known. Towards the end of the film, when Indy is threatening to blow up the Ark, while Belloq is yelling you can see a fly crawling on his face. He doesn't flinch or make any attempt to shoo it.
