“How to Move to Canada” Tops Google Search Trends
According to Google Trends, Trump's success on Super Tuesday caused a 350% spike in people Googling "How to Move to Canada."
Search interest in "Move to Canada" reached a record high too, particularly in Massachusetts and Virginia.
Nationwide, it more than doubled the previous peak in November of 2004, when George W. Bush was re-elected. Of course, that didn't lead to a mass exodus back then.
A new website has even popped up, it's called Cape Breton if Donald Trump Wins. Cape Breton is an island in Nova Scotia that has been experiencing a population date. They claim, "we welcome all, no matter who you support, be it Democrat, Republican or Donald Trump."
