Hostess Turned Their Powdered Donettes Into a Breakfast Cereal

There was a time when breakfast cereals really seemed more like desserts. The tasted and looked like desserts, but were still cereals.

Now the line between breakfast and dessert is getting shattered. This year we've seen things like Chips Ahoy, Nutter Butter, Sour Patch Kids, and Dippin' Dots get turned into cereals.

Hostess and Post are teaming up to throw two new dessert-to-breakfast conversions into the mix. Soon we'll be able to start our day with Honey Bun cereal and Donettes cereal, the powdered ones, not the chocolate ones.

Boxes will hit store shelves in January 2019.
