Homebrew Finals Is This Weekend

It's been a couple months since Bent River Brewing Company held its very first Brewed, Reviewed, & Debuted competition. Since then the four semi-finalists have been brewing their latest concoctions directly with the brewers at Bent River Brewing.

The two teams of Shannon & Brian Olsson and Cory Randolph & Colin Warner have brewed their beers for the head to head to head this Saturday at Bent River Brewing Company's Rock Island location.

Cory and Colin put an Americanized spin on a German Dunkelweizen as chocolate easy drinking wheat beer named “Slam Dunkelweizen.”

Shannon and Brian went with a stout inspired by French Toast called “The Breakfast Klub”.

This event is $5 at the door and include an event pint glass to take home, event coozie, event bottle opener, and a half pint pour of both beers to vote on your favorite. Also, both beers will be available to-go in bomber bottles! Very limited amount of both.

Doc V from Peaceful Palate will also be out and catering the event, so you know the food will be super delicious.
