Here’s The Funny Part…

I was just lookin' around today and saw that on this day back in 2007, The mayor of Nijmegen in The Netherlands, one of the 3 oldest and most famous cities in that country, officially named one of its town streets in honor of The Rolling Stones.  It's called "RollingStonesstraat" and he even sent a copy of the street sign home with the Stones as a nice gesture.

The funny part ... this is the birth place of perhaps the most famous musician-residents of all time from Nijmegen, the Van Halen brothers, Alex and Eddie ... but they don't have a street named after them !  I wonder if Eddie tried to get the mayor fired...
