Happy Birthday Alex!

It's Alex Van Halen's birthday today, and he only wants to bang on the drums all day!  Alex, the older of the Van Halen brothers actually started out as the guitarist and Eddie started out as the drummer.  They switched early on when Alex showed more aptitude for the drums, and the rest is history.  His influences?  Ginger Baker, John Bonham, Keith Moon, and Buddy Rich...  shocker!  I salute you today Alex Van Halen fans!
