Happy Birthdaaaaaaaaaayyy Ian !!

Today is the 69th birthday of the on again-off again lead singer for Deep Purple, Ian Gillan.  One of the greats as far as rock vocalists go .. he also was the front man for Black Sabbath for a brief moment.  Even though he played an occasional instrument, Ian Gillan was best known for his high-pitch "wail"  that was "like" screaming, but it blended so well with the music, it was as just as good as "singing" !   Oh yeah, he was also the original vocalist for the RECORDING of Jesus Christ Superstar ... I can't think of a better choice.  Deep Purple fans and Ian Gillan fans,  today I salute you!
