“Half-Headed” Florida Man Arrested for Arson and Attempted Murder

31-year-old Carlos Rodriguez, known as the "half-headed man" was arrested in Miami early this week after he set his mattress on fire.

An officer found him sitting in the backyard, their report says the fire was set deliberately, "posing an immediate threat to the lives and safety of the occupants."

Rodriguez is being charged with arson and attempted murder. He was sent to a hospital for a mental evaluation and a judge ruled that he stay away from matches and fire.

In a video from 2012, Rodriguez explained how he lost a part of his skull, "I was driving and I hit a pole and I flew out the front window and landed on my head."
