Guns N' Roses landed in Israel and were set to visit Jerusalem today (July 14) ahead of their show in Tel Aviv tomorrow night. However, they have canceled those plans due to shooting attack.

Two police officers were killed, as were all three of the armed assailants in the attack that tool place Friday morning in Jerusalem's Old City. A police spokesperson identified the assailants as terrorists who targeted the police officers. As of now, Guns N' Roses' Tel Aviv show is still scheduled to take place on Saturday night.

GN'R are currently embarking on a world tour with a lineup featuring classic members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, among others. Their tour ran into some other trouble recently in Germany, as the group wasn't able to start on time because of several delays to ensure all attendees would be in the arena, as well as making time for storm clouds to pass over. Things turned out pretty great for that gig however, as AC/DC's Angus Young made a surprise appearance onstage.

The group will also perform at New York City's legendary Apollo Theater on July 20, an incredible treat for fans who who will be able to attend. Amidst all the touring they've been doing, it's been revealed the band have been assembling potential ideas for a speculative fifth studio album. Time will tell if this comes to pass in the near future, but here's hoping to new music from the group.

Fans in North America will be able to see GN'R on their summer tour, as well as a fall trek. See all of their upcoming shows here.
