Greatest Idea Ever, Or, Dumbest?

When introduced to a new concept, what is your typical reaction? Are you initially reserved or more receptive? What if an idea made total sense to you, would you financially get behind it? I just stumbled upon this project, solar roads, and the reasoning makes sense to me. What do you think?
